Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were spacious, and we had a minor issue with a missing shower curtain which was promptly fixed. The security incident at the front desk was a bit of a hassle, but eventually, we were able to access our room. The hot water took a while to come but not a big problem if you shower at odd hours. The food was average, with the highlight being made-to-order eggs, but some hygiene issues were noted. The extra terrace in our room was a nice touch though.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were basic, with 2 single beds with thin, springy mattresses, but they were big, clean, and had essential amenities like a safe, big closet, small table, ashtray, TV with cable, phone, and a small balcony with a street view. However, I found them to be a bit dirty and outdated. The service was wonderful with the staff making our beds daily and even creating animal towel shapes for us to enjoy. The hotel's location was perfect, close to the main strip in Varadero and well-maintained. The dining was okay with a variety of breakfast options but lacked variety for lunch and dinner compared to other all-inclusives in Cuba.
I stayed at this hotel which is right downtown, close to the beach and with flea markets nearby. The rooms were large, with a safe, big closet, small table, TV, phone, and a balcony with a street view. The service was excellent, with daily room cleaning and creative towel shapes. The dining was mixed, better for breakfast, and lacking for other meals. The location is ideal for exploring Varadero.
The hotel is located on the street side, and it can get noisy at night. There is a locked door connecting some rooms, leading to funny situations like our new friend getting locked out on the balcony, and others stuck in their rooms for an hour. The reception lady was not so nice when our door handle broke, but the security guy managed to help us out. Hot water may be scarce when everyone showers at once, but it eventually comes. The food offers the same options every day, but it's decent, although there was an incident with bugs in one dish that I had to inform my daughter about.
I truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering two lovely balconies. The staff was attentive and helpful. The location was convenient, near the sea and a nice bar. Although the dining options were a bit limited, the overall experience was excellent.
